All donations support our mission to improve mental health and wellness for first responders, veterans, nurses, and their families in the 815 community. Funds may be used for:
Counseling and therapy assistance
Wellness programs and outreach
Emergency support for families in crisis
Community awareness and mental health education
Operational costs necessary to carry out our programs
We prioritize channeling resources directly into services that create meaningful, local impact.
Rooftop Angels gratefully accepts:
Online monetary donations
Recurring monthly donations
In-person contributions at events
Corporate sponsorships or matching gifts
In-kind donations, such as supplies or event resources
Restricted donations (gifts designated for specific programs) will always be used according to donor intent whenever feasible.
Rooftop Angels is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
All monetary donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donors receive an email or printed receipt for their records.
If you require an annual giving summary, you may request one at any time.
Your financial information is protected through secure, PCI-compliant third-party processors.
We do not store credit card numbers.
All transactions are encrypted.
Only authorized team members may access donor records for administrative purposes.
We take privacy and data safety seriously, and every donation is handled with care.
Because donations fund ongoing support programs, all contributions are generally non-refundable.
However, we understand mistakes can happen. Refund requests may be considered if
A donation was made in error
A duplicate transaction occurred
A donor used the wrong amount unintentionally
Requests must be submitted within 7 days of the donation date. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
Rooftop Angels respects your privacy. We will not sell, rent, or share donor information.
